Fetching the water is actually a daily errand in some parts of India.
Jodhpur city was strategically built on this location with ample natural water reservoirs like ponds, lakes, well, baoris and jhalaras. It has been always a part of daily life routine to fetch water from wells and baoris for centuries, which still exists as water supply to the town is not able to fulfil the needs of growing population and ground water crisis.

Acrylics on deep edge canvas.

Paired with another work on the same thought and same colour scheme, which compliments each other to stay side by side.
